Volunteer and Job Opportunities Hello everyone! I welcome you all to this meeting, I trust you have all had a great deal of rest and a plate full of Funyuns, we will, and must, get down to business quickly without any fluffy pleasantries.I have gathered you all here today to ask for your help and servitude. CrankyYellow is a mighty organization, it has its eyes set far and wide, wanting to dominate the wicked and bring the innocent to a paradise of art and social progression. However strong, if we are to complete our mission we need your help, we need your wisdom, talents, resources, muscle, ingenuity, voices, and fingers. You must type, you must paint, you must write, you must draw, you must lift and pull and tug for a brighter, happier, stronger, and Cranky-Yellow-er tomorrow! The tasks are many, the expectations are high (not really), the work will be arduous (not really), and you will be rewarded with riches beyond your comprehension (ha ha ha, not really). Here are the current positions we have open: Flyer/promotional material designer This is open to anyone. You can design a flyer or other promotional item for us. If you send us a copy via email or snail mail we will make many more copies and distribute them in orders and street crew packages. Feel free to include a url to your site on the flyer. This is a great way to help us out... and get your name out there as well!Web Design (internship) This is an unpaid 6 month internship. We are looking for someone skilled in design and common programming languages (specifically HTML, PHP, CSS, MSQL, Javascript). Any age will do if you've got the skills. The intern will work with us to create various online promotions and site features.Street-Crew (Individual promotion, putting up flyers and crap) You can sign up for this HERE!Painters (only applicable if you live in St. Louis) We need some help painting our ceiling and walls. If you are in the St. Louis area and want to help out please let us know. We've got brushes for everyone.Forum management and participation Yeah. Go sign up HERE! If you get really involved we are likely to bump you up to a moderator or even an administrator.Myspace and other social network site promotion Tell all of your friends on Myspace and other social network sites about us. You can even drop us a link on your page. Show us off to as many people as you can! We are on Myspace and Youtube!Art, Music, Literature etc. contribution (we'll sell your works on the site) Are you an artist? Do you want to sell and promote your work? Learn all about how to contribute by visiting our Submissions page!Political and Social activists (especially if you live in St. Louis) We need you for community projects such as: Gardens, Clean-ups, Neighborhood Security, Poverty eleviation, Education Programs, Cultural programs (promotion of art, music, drama amongst inner-city youths)..etc.. Political endeavors such as: sponsoring or running candidates, fundraising, founding and running organizations supporting or opposing particular issues, legal funds and battles.
